Pool Courtyard Bar · Miami Beach
The Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami
56
now
The Broken Shaker is not a true rooftop, but it is one of Miami Beach's most influential outdoor hotel-bar experiences. The Freehand official page supports current operations, menus, private events, and Resy booking; include only with a clear editorial note that it is a courtyard/pool exception rather than rooftop inventory.
Go here if
- You want casual groups.
- A nationally recognized Miami outdoor cocktail anchor, even if technically not a rooftop.
- You are fine with a more exposed rooftop setup.
Skip if
- You want a budget-first night.
Booking reality
Book via Resy; walk-in suitability still needs local validation.
Source confidence
official
Official source exists, community signal still worth checking.
Hours confidence
source-backed
Official Freehand page rechecked 2026-07-05: Monday-Thursday 5pm-12am, Friday-Saturday 12pm-1am, Sunday 12pm-12am; La Piscina pool Friday-Sunday 12pm-5pm.
Weather caveat
source-backed
Ground-level backyard/courtyard and pool setting is more wind-protected than an exposed roof. Official copy supports a backyard oasis and pool-hour operating model, but no permanent cover/fan/mister evidence was found, so summer storms remain the limiting case.
